The EU TROPOS (Modular Multi-use Deep Water Offshore Platform Harnessing and Servicing Mediterranean, Subtropical and Tropical Marine and Maritime Resources) program will develop a modular multi‐purpose offshore platform for deep water sites with a focus on the Mediterranean, tropical and sub‐tropical regions in which this type of structure could be particularly feasible and important. 

Phytolutions will focus on:

Use of marine algae as source for fuels, chemicals and high value products, photosynthetic CO2 mitigation in the area of aquaculture.
